I know it’s a day old, but what made them change their minds?
Back in January the MSM and the Dems were gloating over the Saudis not allowing us access.

This coupled with the fact we have for the third time in a year shown unquestionable military dominance against any country that could potentially pretend to be our “rival”
In this case by completely taking over Irans entire airspace and making it our own even though they definitely would’ve had Russian and Chinese tech in place meant to stop this.
Saudi has always been pretty solid allies to us even if they’re not the best people morally. They’d like to be on the winning side

This reminds me of a wonderful old book. The Mullahs should have learned it years ago.

When did we get a US airbase in Saudi Arabia?

Saudi and the gulf states are also very modern countries in many ways now with immense wealth flowing through them.
They’re not shite holes who have strangled their countries economy by choice for fundamentalist reasons like Iran has for 50 years. If Iran can be reintegrated into the western markets they’re by far the largest untapped market on the planet and would see insane year over year gdp growth for a while

Remember when Trump met with him a few months ago? Now we can see the pieces coming together.
