Y'all need to check out the novel series from Kurt Schlichter.
The first book is called "People's Republic". He describes what happens after America's red and blue states split up in the early 2020's. The red states with their new capitol in Texas keep the name United States of America, and the blue states become "The People's Republic of North America".
After around ten years of leftist woke policies the People's Republic is starving and about to collapse. The main protagonist, a former Special Forces guy out of Texas, is quite a badass and infiltrates the People's Republic on a number of occasions. It's very violent and quite entertaining.

You realize the Republican aka REd states will be starved globally in trade right? HOw you gonna make profit if no one will trade with you?
THe blue states will then be backed gobally and their citizen are happy to be second to the Chinese as long sa they are over the russians.
And do you realize that continuing to view the political landscape through the goggles of Red/Blue is turning this country INTO China?

It’s impossible to invade the U.S. from overseas. The Atlantic and Pacific Oceans are the greatest barriers in the history of civilization. The Atlantic Ocean is the biggest reason the colonists won the Revolutionary War. It’s a logistical nightmare

If you think about it, she really isn’t thinking this whole thing through.
The places that would separate are the costal areas of the west coast, the North East and Chicago
What is produced in those areas?
Manufacturing? Nope that moved south and out of the country
Farming:
Debt sucking welfare: check

Have you ever met a Jewish farmer, or a Jewish electrician?
It’s partly the legal restrictions that Christians imposed. Christians wanted to offload immoral jobs, like banking, they also wanted to restrict land owning. But the Jewish community also gravitated towards these niches. It was a good way to make a living and make yourself indispensable.
One of the consequences though, is that the Jewish community undervalues these fields, like farming. And attaches too much value to medicine, banking, law.
