What about intentional disinformation just so you can keep exposing the media of shoddy journalism?
I mean, if I’m the WH and I want certain media outlets to slowly become less and less credible between now and 2020...doesn’t purposefully giving them bad info that they won’t bother verifying before reporting, help me?

Of course. Because the bullshite "story" gives no timetable, so the "reporter" can claim accuracy even of she doesn't leave until next year.
Sort of how Steffy's Cohen "story" implies Cohen will cooperate with prosecutors, but is nothing more than conjecture "sourced" by people in the SDNY. No actual FACT reporting.

Unfortunately for the Trump Administration, we have already seen several instances where it's been reported that a person was leaving, by their choice or not, and it was denied, then the person left.
