The only reason we have the New Orleans Saints is because Americans felt enough pity on a beloved and once-great city to try to save it after it was devastated by Katrina and Democrat dysfunction. Lord knows Louisiana couldn't have saved it on its own. And the Saints were part of bringing it back because compassion and fan loyalty superseded political vendettas.
So, take a knee, lock arms, or do whatever you want to do to bring politics into it, and then go promptly frick yourselves. If the entire team partakes in a political gesture to disrespect anyone in this country during a game in London, my life-long Saints fandom comes to an abrupt end.

The NFL is in a lot more trouble than they realize in terms of losing fans over this. I don't think they're doing the math or any kind of good job with PR.

I see no issue with this.
Besides, they knelt last week and they won. Their defense hadn't played like that since they won the superbowl. If they keep winning, I don't care what they do pregame. The could trample a flag while wearing swastika armbands for all I care. Winning cures all ills.
