Ryan Cohen going after Boston Consulting Group (BCG)

He is not letting up on this predatory consulting company. Have any of you have been part of a company that has gone bankrupt? Was BCG brought in before the bankruptcy? Did they plant any executives or board members?
Delta, Toys-R-us, Sears, blockbuster, JCPenney, Kohls, etc. etc. etc.
Apparently, hedge funds - including Mittens Romney's Bain Capital would use BCG to plant saboteur executives and employees into these companies. Then short the stock and have saboteurs drive up debt, steal intellectual property, force poor decisions.
They also seemed to target a lot of Amazon online competition for some strange reason
Anyway, they were going hard after Gamestop in 2019, 2020 when Cohen stepped in, fired BCG and began turning the company around. BCG got pissed and sued GME saying they owed them 30 million. lol
Cohen has been on a vendetta for 3 weeks now.
I love the radical young billionaires like him and Elon.

I believe they're basically "harvesting" these companies. Sucking every bit of cash/assets out of them with a slow bleed and all their buddies get in on the shorting.

They also give themselves huge bonuses as part of the effort to kill the company. It is despicable. It should be criminal, if it isn't.

Got more details on what happened between him and BCG for him to do this? I don't know much about Cohen.
I have a buddy who worked for a company that had BCG come thru as the company was looking to be acquired. Apparently it did nothing for them as the company just went down hill after the round of layoffs that came from BCG sniffing around, and they sat on the market for years.

If they're public companies there should be at least issues with the SEC.

Did you see the part of the chart where BCG consulted for the SEC to set up regs? Yeah, the SEC isn't going to do much good.

Cohen starts sniffing around gamestop. Gamestop shorted to high hell. Cohen buys massive stake in company, takes it over. Finds out BCG is "consulting" Gamestop and simultaneously has ties to massive hedge fund who has the massive short position in gamestop. Cohen pulls plug on BCG, etc etc.

Now it appears Mitt Romney worked at BCG, and 70% of their revenue is from US govt contracts totalling around 800 million

I don’t really get it. If they are so horrible why do companies hire them for consulting
Posted on 4/7/22 at 4:38 pm to Pierre
Because they aren’t horrible. They have people who know how to do shite for companies that the companies can’t do themselves.

They short themselves?
They like the idea of massive bonuses and cashing in on golden parachutes?

So, are you saying you work or have worked for these shite bags?
I have had plenty of experience with similar companies and how they destroy companies I have worked for.
Actually, one of those POS is running Delta right now. I just didn't realize when we were going through bankruptcy that they were brought in to do it.

It would seem as though they have been very successful in terms of making bank...
while fricking over the companies ;and their employees) that trusted them.

Its not some grand conspiracy to know that any time you're working for a company that at some point hires some big consulting firm to "turn things around" its time to RUN to another job.
