Obviously being against abortion means it is everyone's duty to pay for other people's mistakes. There is no other option. /s

is this where we talk about how much conservatives donate to charity?
He's probably talking about the right's support of capital punishment. Because the left is so morally broken they cannot make a distinction between people who can't possibly have done anything wrong and people convincted of premeditated murder.

Who says they don't give a shite about life in general?
Do you have a source for that or just anecdotes? Would you like to discuss charity donations as it relates to those on the right?

i understand your confusion since you're quite obviously a conservative blowhard, but i'd never abort my child, as much as you'd like to believe i would.
"I love how you assume that because I use a false liberal slogan that is centered around support for abortion, I'm pro-abortion"
Yeah dude, it's a fricking mystery

So you use actual anecdotes to refute a large set of data that shows a legitimate comparison between voters in the 50 states? You're struggling here.

I said it would be nice if they cared about human life at all points like they do before birth

The majority of your posts are abortions though.

It would be really awesome if you would provide a link for charitable contributions from Dims vs Conservative Americans, you don't want to go there.
Remember, donating to BLM/SPLC/Planned Parenthood/ACLU, etc. doesn't qualify as worthy charities by conservative decency standards.

Political Rant: well how much money do liberals donate to charity!?!?!?

Who’s More Generous, Liberals or Conservatives?
How America Gives
Reuters: Poor conservatives give more than wealthy liberals
quote:
"How America Gives," published by The Chronicle of Philanthropy, uses IRS data to determine giving patterns across the country, broken out by income ranges across ZIP codes, counties, and states. Researchers looked at adjusted gross income to determine how much people gave, and the study tracked about 80 percent of all money donated to charity by taxpaying Americans in 2012, the latest year for which IRS data was available.
quote:
Overall, the states in which people gave the highest percentage of their adjusted gross incomes were also states that voted for Romney, while states in which people gave the lowest percentage of their adjusted gross income went for Obama. The top 17 states for rate of giving all went for Romney.
quote:
Utahans and Romney voters give most.
In an even starker finding, the study shows that the religious and conservative states are the most generous givers. Seventeen of the most generous states, in relative terms, voted for Romney in 2012, while 15 of the 17 least generous ones picked Obama for re-election.

Oh look, this is the part where you pretend that charity doesn't impact needy people that are, in fact, alive (after birth), and that the conservatives who give to charity don't care about those they are donating the charity to help.

Here I'll even meet you in the middle.
Who's more charitable -- conservatives or liberals?

So, at worst, there are no distinctions between political partisanship and giving.
I thought liberals cared more about poor people?

As two MIT political scientists determined in a 2013 paper, the inclination to give appears to have virtually no relationship to one's partisan or ideological views. There are distinctions, however, in the kind of giving between the two poles.

quote:the only evidence you have on who gives the most is based off percentages, and shows the poorer states (more conservatove) giving a higher percentage. no actual number that compare dollars to dollars. Just percentages.

or do you have actual numbers that compare dollar-to-dollar donating?

You don't understand how statistics work. Read the MIT paper.
Here, I'll help you again. An adjustment was necessary to arrive at their conclusion (which was a stretch). The adjustment was required because conservatives on the whole donate a large amount of money to charities:
quote:
In this paper, we show that the association between conservatism and generosity is a function of conservatives being wealthier and more religious than liberals. Further, any conservative advantage in giving that remains after adjusting for confounders is driven by a greater propensity by conservatives to donate to religious causes, especially their own congregation.
quote:
Regardless of which specification, the basic pattern of results holds: there is no statistical difference in total giving between red and blue states. Rather, the only differences are that red states give less to secular organizations and more to religious organizations.
Like I said, best case scenario for you is that there is no difference in giving. Which is odd because you're here to tell me that conservatives don't care about people once they are born.
