Did that help them?
The bombers are used on a regular basis to bomb Ukraine do yes.
How big of a deal was it tactically? It’s too early to tell, but I have to believe it was a huge morale booster.
At minimum it was similar to our Doolittle raid on Tokyo.

Yes. Where I come from, which is the American South, we call that a splinter.
My dad would have said to rub some dirt on it and get back to work.

Deadly series
In 3 1/2 years and a million casualties they've taken land a little bit larger than the state of Pennsylvania and have less to show for it after they were beaten back during the Battle of Kiev and additional Oblasts:
Russia's Battlefield Woes
Let me give you all some context.
Today, June 6th, marks the 81st anniversary of D Day, the day America and her allies landed on the beaches of France.
May 8, 1945, marks Victory in Europe, when the Germans formally surrendered to the Allies.
That's 11 months, boys and girls. Less than a year.
Less than a year for America and her allies to kick Nazi Germany's teeth in, take over half of Europe and do so while taking 400k casualties, and to do so while preparing to fight and fighting a second war in the Pacific against arguably the two foremost military powers on the planet at the time. That's winning.
The Russians can't control a 10th of that land in 3 1/2 times the time alloted against a country that barely had a functioning military and had a comedian as a PM.
They're losers, people. And the whole worthless, backward, drunk country is going to fall apart before they ever get to Kiev.
Are you saying that the Russians should use the tactics we used to end WW2? Most of that type of warfighting is now considered to be war crimes.
Was Dresden a strictly military base? Or a city we bombed into dust. Hundreds of other cities received the same treatment. In the Pacific Theater is was worse. The use of incendiary weapons on Tokyo was horrific. But this was done to inflict maximum casualties on the enemy.
So you state the achievements of Allied Forces in WW2 but then bemoan the Russians hitting some civilians?
Hypocrite much?
And for the record I dont care if they fight to the last man. I really dont care. Putin is not an honorable man but Ukraine is one of the most corrupt nations on the planet.
As long as we keep our troops out I will be happy. I think Russia will end up winning because they usually do, throwing men into a meat grinder is what they have done for a 1000 years.

You're serious Clark?
How much land have they lost? How many bodies have been bagged?
I think they are outgunned here but go on...
They lost more land by end of March 2022 than Russia holds today. Thus they gained back considerable portions.

President Trump doesn't want you to pay attention to this foreign policy failure. Turn your head back to Los Angeles.

In WW2 the allies incinerated Dresden with custom made bombs of gelled gasoline designed to break through the roofs of the city’s dwellings before exploding to maximize damage. War is what it is.

The Russians are already unloading on the Ukrainians with all they have, which by the way, is around 30-40 planes less, and it isn't having an impact.
Seriously?? Lol
None of those planes attacked are being used against Ukraine. They are parked there due to a treaty, same as the US planes are parked in full view.
