Am I the only one in absolute awe of their incompetence, or were we absolutely and completely misled to their military capabilities?

We have been told for DECADES that they are a country to fear, and who can challenge us for worldwide military dominance, yet they cant beat a former nation-state in a land-war in 12 months now?

Are we to believe they cannot handle a war against a country smaller than Texas? With every single advantage?

MIC needs to eat.

Their nuke arsenal is pretty legit and should be respected.

While I agree with the overall substance of your post, let's call a spade a spade. They aren't fighting a former nation state, they are fighting a former nation currently being armed, supplied, and trained by the US.

Russia fought a proxy war with the U.S. and several other countries who provided aid and munitions so let’s not act like Russia was only fighting Ukrainian soldiers.

We shouldn't believe anything with this "war".

What if Russia sees America taxpayers getting fleeced for 2 BILLION Dollars every WEEK, and the damage that is doing to our economy and doesn’t want a quick victory.

Maybe they are trying to bleed us dry like we did to them in the 80s in Afghanistan.

This is the correct answer.

And China can dump our bonds whenever they want and end the dollar. We are not at all in a position of strength.

What would be different in our economy if the US were not providing funding to Ukraine?

I think Putin was caught off guard too. All of his yes men kept telling him how great their military is etc all while siphoning the funds for maintenance and such off to go build them some nice villa somewhere.

You’re posting on PT talk though so you better watch what you say about Vlad and mother Russia

Ukraine isn’t bleeding us dry. Unlike the USSR in the 80s we actually have an economy

Great parallel. They are going to bleed us until there are no more Russian troops.

Compared to the dollars and lives we pissed away in Iraq and Afghanistan this is a bargain. Our troops not involved, and the rest of NATO contributing to stop great Russian aggression.
