Since it is Rex, I am going to assume this is wildly inaccurate, and an attempt by some left-wing blogger to smear Rush.
I don't listen to Rush, nor do I really care what he said yesterday.....so I won't spend any more time on this....but to those that look into it, how did I do? Is Rex lying yet again?

Rex, I posted Rush's own words on the previous page and requested you to point out where Rush said what your article says that he said.
I didn't ask you to get up this morning and post misleading drivel, but since you chose to, can you kindly show me in the transcript where Rush said RW killed himself because of his leftist views?

Robin Williams killed himself because he suffered from depression. What caused his depression? Any opinion could be valid, but that's all they'll ever be is an opinion.

Pretty much. Rush speculated that RW had a pessimistic attitude toward the world and that he had survivor's guilt because so many of his friends died young.
It was a weird thing to say and the reasons for suicide are never appropriate to opine on, IMO.

Seriously??? That's the best you can come up with. I'm sorry I had to bring it to your attention that all of those people have been trolling your dumbfrick arse for the last 20+ years.
You are such a fricktard red. Got take the diaper off of Maggie and leave the important discussions to the adults.

I don't lie. You know it, everybody here knows it.
I DO anger you, however, with analyses you're not fond of hearing.
My thread title is accurate, as they always are.

He had it all, but he had nothing. He made everybody else laugh but was miserable inside. I mean, it fits a certain picture, or a certain image that the left has.

The source, unnamed in the story, said that Robin Williams felt guilty that he was still alive while his three friends had died young and much earlier than he had. He could never get over the guilt that they died and he didn't. Well, that is a constant measurement that is made by political leftists in judging the country.

"He had everything, everything that you would think would make you happy. But it didn't." Now, what is the left's worldview in general? What is it? If you had to attach not a philosophy but an attitude to a leftist worldview, it's one of pessimism and darkness, sadness. They're never happy, are they? They're always angry about something. No matter what they get, they're always angry.
It's all there in the audio and in the transcript.
This thread is a perfect illustration of how dishonest are many rightwingers on this board.

It is amazing how often you prove Rush right.

Great. Prove it. The transcript is posted above. Please just give the line number where Rush states "Robin Williams killed himself because of a political leftist attitude". If you can cite that line, I will apologize. Your failure to be able to cite it will show us all and will serve as your tacit admission that you did, in fact, lie.

Anger isn't the correct word. The 9ers anger me when let the Saints keep it close. Outside of the entertainment this board brings me, and the maybe 2 minutes I may spend calling you out (because it is so easy to do) I spend precisely 0.0 time worrying about you. The correct word is amuse and bewilder. I really enjoy seeing what you have to say.

Just point to the line in the transcript. Thanks buddy.

Oh SH!T -- that might have been the funniest thing ever posted on this site.
You've been called out for so many outright LIES it's just amazing to most that you would ever show your "face" again -- time after time after time after time.....

Rush is right more often than Rex. Heck, a broken clock is often more often than Rex.

For that, he'll be damned by about 40%

If one is swept away or long indulges in the contemplation/experience of Evil - as Libs/Leftist are inclined to do
quote:So your answer for depression is to become a stark-raving lunatic who extracts himself from reality to live in fantasy land, worshipping invisible myths that exist only in your mind?
There are two way to fight against this psychological power. Firstly...intellect - understanding the dynamic - and employing will in BALANCING the power of Evil, with the power of Love. A book I read long ago, said that "the art of a warrior is balance"...."between terror and wonder". The 'warrior', being one who dutifully chooses to explore...and know and understand, as a matter of personal and civic responsibility. I.e., to love.
The second, is to have the outside and real help of the Good Lord, when one's personal cognition, intellect and will fall short; and one indulges or is swept away for whatever reason. This second option (Jesus' power) is only real - and to the degree - that an individual BELIEVES it to be. Totally subjective...just like the existence of God. And as such, highly controversial, as this option in fact...does not objectively exist, for unbelievers.
Do you also offer form-fitting white coats to go along with this "therapy?"
quote:I now understand how you would think that Rush is a "good guy."
Both Williams and Rush are good guys.

None of know why he killed himself, and we may never know. I've had a family member who suffered from depression. That is not the basis of what I was trying to express. I feel as busted up about it as almost anyone. Having a family member take her life due to depression, plus being a huge fan of his I am still kinda in disbelief, but dog fricker is trying to make into something more.
Who gives a frick what Rush or anyone else thinks. In the end it is a tragic thing that has happened, and anyone who tries to make into something political is a heartless person.

Once again, Rex has been proven to be a liar.
Of course, that's like saying, "Water is wet."
