no, he's not ... there aren't that many blacks in britain/scotland/england/etc ... if you wanted a different ethnicity, as i'm sure others have pointed out, there are several more to choose from that are a larger proportion of the population ... blacks are not the de facto minority anymore ...

Joaquin Phoenix would make a much better James Bond than Elba.
Phoenix fits the physical description of Fleming's James Bond almost to a T.
He's white, has a slender build and black hair. He could have a scar put on his face by using makeup. He would have no trouble learning to speak with a Scottish accent since he is an incredible actor.
Phoenix should have won the Academy Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role for his portrayal of Freddie Quell in The Master.
So you are wrong. Elba isn't the best actor to play the role of James Bond.

Carrot Top is a white dude. I think that automatically makes him qualified. Peter Dinklage is also white. According to this old racist fricker, that also makes him imminently more qualified than Idris Elba.
Chaz Bono is also self-identifying as a man these days, and is also white. While he doesn't have any film credits to his name, I'd suspect Old Racist fricker to prefer ole Chaz play Bond over Elba as well.
