And therein lies what the purpose of this "leaking" right now serves. It's a HUGE coup for Sacha, getting so much publicity for his movie for free practically. He's also an admitted Democrat and dislikes Trump, so it's a win/win.
That's why he - or nobody else that actually worked on the movie - are coming out to correct the record that Rudy was tucking his shirt in and didn't know the actress was supposedly 15 (even though she's 24).
It serves them REALLY well to let this story blow up, just for idiots like you who now want to see it so they can see what happens. It gets people looking into other previews and the whole premise of the movie, it's genius from a marketing standpoint.

That's not how Borat movies work at all, dumbass. He was duped into believing it was a conservative news network interviewing him, it says so about 5 times in any article posted. Borat is more like a "hidden camera" show and the whole schtick is that he's basically undercover as a foreigner from a middle eastern country.
He tricks unsuspecting individuals into believing the entire thing, and the first movie even tricked some rather important people too IIRC.
It doesn't make Rudy look GOOD by any means, for getting duped and not being more careful. But a single 70+ year old male flirting with a hot 24 year old, who is by all accounts initiating the flirting herself, is more understandable than sad or disgusting.
TLDR - It's all a ploy to market the movie, discredit Rudy at an important time (ask yourself 'why now' when this was probably filmed several months to a year ago), damage Trump, and distract from the Biden laptop. Hopefully everyone else sees how obvious it is too, but I don't put much faith in that these days

This part doesn't even make sense. She invited him to HER hotel room after doing an interview with him. Are we supposed to believe it is realistic that even their fake 15 year old would have been able to rent a hotel room? The fake story isn't even believable.
