All the rights things that will get him elected. I have this gut feeling that Moore's fights for the Ten Commandments monument and against the gay marriage ruling (two things he is best known for) were for political gain more than anything.

This is where you are confused. This man beleves these things as does the majority of Alabama.

Brooks was Working for Ted Cruz when he said those things. They were prior to the Primary in Alabama.

After Trump secured the Nomination Brooks switched to being a Trump Supporter.

I'm aware of that

Periodically I listen to the Finebaum show and I get to hear many august Alabamians like Tammy the Auburn fan and the whole host of other regular misfits that call his show. I figured it was all mostly schtick. I thought that few people could be this idiotic and backwards.....but then you tell me Roy Moore is doing well in his quest to be Senator.

Tammy is a friggin MENSA candidate!!!!!!!!!

That anyone at all will vote for Moore is absolutely hilarious

Pretty much how I feel about Strange, Moore, and Brooks. They all suck.

Pretty sure Moore does not plan to put a Ten Commandment monument in the Senate. I would probably agree with most of his or Brooks votes. And damn if I vote for Strange to start getting Maxine size payola.

But moore is extra level of suck.

It would be really funny if strange didn't make the runoff with trump's support, tepid as it is.

Trump's support for Strange is part of the deal making with McConnell, nothing else.

Most likely. I doubt he knows who strange is. Or Mo brooks, or roy moore.

But still reflects poorly on trump if his endorsed candidate doesn't make the runoff.

Trump is still really popular in Alabama. His endorsement carries some weight. But it's also the second time in recent weeks Alabama conservatives have been in a pickle. They love Jeff Sessions, so Trump's attack on him was interesting. And now there's uneasiness with Strange, who Trump has endorsed.

I think Strange wins in the end, unfortunately. His appointment was severely tainted.
