You absolutely could not be more wrong aboot Desantis having anything to do with this. The speed limit on World drive starts by I-4 at 40 mph. Once you cross Griffin rd., it goes to 45. Down close to the Coronado/ Swan/ dolphin, it goes to 50.
Cars are coming off of I-4 and going 70-90 mph, because "muh gotta be first". Disney has always worked with the Sheriff's dept. Of Orange, and Osceola counties. They maintain substations on Disney property. Some of the speeders are employees. Disney joined in the statewide speed trap, well publicized in the media the past few weeks. Every LEO dept. statewide ran speed traps.
So, while speed traps are heavy right now on World Dr., Osceola parkway and Epcot Center Dr., it will slow down when the statewide, road pirate money grab is over.
This is not Desantis targeting Disney.
