Rand Paul, Ron Paul, and Donald Trump are exceptions to the rule. Marjorie Taylor Greene has sold out and is now also a phony.

Despise Trump all day but we are watching our nation on the brink. This isn't the time for the GOP to pitch a fit protecting their swamp.
I voted for Trump twice and will again in 2024, if he’s the nominee. I may even vote for him in the primary, as I have questions about DeSantis too. If you’re alluding to me as despising Trump, you’re off base.

Most here are genuinely vetting and sharing our gut instincts.
Yep, that’s what I do. Add to that the fun/entertainment found in debate and you can understand why I post as I do. You and I may agree on many things, but what’s the fun in an echo chamber?
You think Trump handled Covid like a champ and I think he fricked it up royally. That’s the more interesting/fun debate. And it’s actually pretty important. Covid changed this country for the worse in so many impactful ways. Moreover, if we do get a second Trump term, it would be in all of our best interests if Trump went into it with a sense that his constituents had high expectations of a substantially more successful second term in comparison to his first.

I think pretty much every conservative around here is twisted by the ridiculous politicization of DOJ/FBI. My posting history is consistent with that, not that I’d expect you to be aware of my posting history.

I'm starting to think you is a phony.

I'm pro-Trump since 2015, I don't think I pretend to be some moderate lukewarm Republican. I loathe Bushes, McCain, Cheyneys, Romney, and basically all Republican establishment. Only good thing about R party is Pauls, Trump, J. Jordan and newcomers like Gaetz, MTG, and Boebert. We need to push the party into ultra-populism mode to get off this failing uniparty trajectory that's been slowly devouring middle class and communities since the 70s, frankly.
I'm very good at figuring people out, so I thought I'd share an insight. The more vetting I'm doing on Ronny D, the less he appeals to me. I'll never pick him over Trump, but I would obviously vote for him over any DINO.
When I was in HS and first year in college, I was young and dumb and thought Republicans were the pro-war clique that bankrupted the country, caused 2008 crash and that D's would be the answer. Then Obummer came and dispelled my confusion that there were 2 parties. There was 1 party.
Finally we got Trump in 2015. But before Trump even announced, Ronny D was voting with Obama on TPP and basically towing the party line. He's an establishment cookie cutter Repbulican originally, which is why RINOs are banking so heavily on him.

Tell us more about Cadet Bonespur and his seven deferments.
At least DeSantis had the balls to sign up and went to Iraq

No need to get personal. I don't feel any emotion towards this issue, other than my surprise that Ron was a lawyer in the military, aka jag officer.
And unless he touts his military service, I don't care one way or another. However, if he does, then we have a case of a military bureaucrat pretending to be a soldier.

Trump wasn't a soldier, and neither was DeSantis. DeSantis was a military bureaucrat who relied on government check and was paving the way for his Congressional run which came almost immediately after his discharge from the Navy.
I'm sure risking your life at a military base pumping out paperwork and burning midnight oil well outside of any insurgent mortar range where Iraqis don't even have a single stinger to shoot at aircraft is such a terrifying ordeal . I'm being sarcastic.
Iraq after the invasion was over was a cakewalk if you weren't in the infantry. Comedians, celebs, and politicians visited military bases which was plenty safe to do.

Again at least DeSantis had the balls to sign up and was a JAG officer attached to the SEAL teams operating and advising the SEAL teams in Iraq so its not like he was ducking and hiding either: unlike Cadet Bonespur
DeSantis had a law degree from Harvard and its not like he could have been in the private sector making big money instead of signing up and going to Iraq. That is a hell of a lot more than Trump ever did.
You should really just drop it and shut the frick up now alter instead of shitting on his military service.

How did you not know this. All you had to do was read.

Trump’s bone spurs bought and paid for by his daddy kept him from defeating the NVA and being proclaimed the greatest warrior in American history says the cultists.

How about you shut the frick up instead, you fricking douchebag. Trump has done more for this country than the last 10 POTUSes combined and only a fricking moron like yourself can't see that.

This is a truly idiotic thing to say. Mind numbingly idiotic.

Being a lawyer in the army and taking a government paycheck while building up his base for political run isn't all that "selfless".
He clearly wanted to use military service as a trampoline for his Congressional run which was immediately after his discharge. Then seamlessly into governor.
Bo Biden had the same plan, but cancer took care of that for us.

Yeah that's all great jackass.......and has promptly shot himself in the foot. He is unelectable at this point and 2022 mid-terms just proved that again. If he runs again it will be a disaster and everyone except you deluded idiots knows it.
You are a QAnon quoting tard and have zero credibility.

He still served (albeit not in a manner that most people would envision).
It is more than most would do, and he should be commended.

Any Republican is “unelectable” given the election frickery that is obvious to all but the most disingenuous.
Including DeSantis.

And I guess Trump was on the front lines taking out terrorists by hand while Ron was lawyer-ing.
