He can still speak to media, just not from courthouse steps. Lawyers and witnesses have a much tighter gag.

Some of you turds need to read the docs before you melt

Very fair ruling imo

A victory for first amendment

Damn, that's rough. That extra elevation you get really carries the voice.

This is essentially the same gag order she gave to Gates and Manafort.

I like how the OP says “ Roger Stone” and “turds” and you hear it like it’s a dog whistle. Just kidding of course. Not kidding. Kidding. Sort of.

I can't put my hands on the order from Manafort/Gates but the reported descriptions are similar:

quote:

The federal judge overseeing the criminal case against former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort and his associate Rick Gates has issued a gag order limiting comments to the media and the public by lawyers, defendants and witnesses in the case. U.S. District Court Judge Amy Berman Jackson's directive released Wednesday doesn't ban such statements outright, but prohibits any remarks that "pose a substantial likelihood of material prejudice to this case."

At a hearing last week, Jackson urged lawyers to make their arguments in court and "not on the courthouse steps." She also appeared to criticize a statement one of Manafort's lawyers made outside court calling the charges against his client "ridiculous."

"This is a criminal trial, and it's not a public relations campaign," the judge warned.

Politico

Corsi's a witness in the Stone case, though, so I suppose he's gagged more than all of 'em.

Do I know you, baw?

In other Stone legal news, he wants a new judge so Mueller filed why he needs the same judge as a linked case - the GRU (hacking case). They have some correspondence with Stone on the GRU side of the evidence. Not sure if it's the same is we know of from his correspondence with Guccifer 2.0/GRU.
