The Sting is the first movie I remember going to. He was great in Butch. I can't stand the movie now, but All the Presidents men was a good film before I realized it was propaganda. Three Days of the Condor was a very good movie. JJ was a great movie, and Brubaker was pretty good. I really didn't care for most of his newer work work from 90's on except Broadcast news, and Sneakers was a under rated movie. I enjoyed lots of his films. I didn't agree with his politics, but his work was pretty good for the most part. RIP

I have read several stories and been told a few personally of the difference between the private persona vs the public with Redford. RIP.

Robert Redford and Don Drysdale played on the same H.S. baseball team. 'Bobby' as he was called, played 1B. Drysdale played 2nd base until he started growing and throwing harder. He was then switched to pitcher.
