We shut everything down for corona. It should spread like wild fire if it is what they say it is. If not, we should have never turned off the faucet.

I mean it's real either way, 110K and counting dead people and all. What it will give us more insight into are:
- the scope of seasonal impacts
- how transmissible the disease is outside
- the effectiveness of semi-universal masking

I agree that if we don't see a rise in case counts in the next few weeks in the cities where protest have happened we should drastically step back a lot of the restrictions.

It’s convenient that these democrats insisted on masks even when they are not effective against the virus and now the rioters cannot be identified because of the masks.

Playgrounds closed, but streets open for packed rioters.

The country club golf course in my town was the first thing they opened, about 3 weeks ago

They just closed it back down this week because they had a 50 man tournament and COVID-19 hit 16 people that attended it.

Life capacity isn't a term I'm familiar with but if you mean life expectancy, that is not correct. Life expectancy shifts as you age. Life expectancy at birth is ~79 years in the US, but if you make it to age 65 you'd be expected to live on average ~20 years (84). If you make it to 75 you'd be expected to live to 87 and so forth. The best data I've seen suggest that covid is causing those who die of it about 10 years on average.

I keep seeing this comment on the board. Are those older folks lives worth less than yours?

If we see a spike and they start locking down again that may actually start a war. The democrats were realizing that the Rona happened way too soon. Economy recovering and Trump was going to coast. Maybe the riots are about trying to spike the numbers to prolong it through the election.

Link to the news article that surely would have covered such an outbreak.

This # is easily 25% inflated if not more. We will never know the truth about it b/c it became a political tool for the left.

The protestors and rioters are all young in the very low risk demographic.

Now if people from nursing homes join the protests, that would be another matter.
