What value is gold if society collapses?

Very low until society can re-form.

These people with an apocalypse fetish severely underestimate how shitty it will be for them, the fact that they're not built for that life, and what they've done to prepare will only help them for a short period of time.

Exactly. Brass, lead, primers, and powder. Not sure why gold gets hyped at all. It'll be worthless post apocalypse.

And CBDCs will be the end of freedom as we know it. I wish the general public was smart enough to understand this, but most would gladly throw it all away for convenience. COVID has crushed any remaining faith I had in humanity.

I hold a decent chunk, but it's basically a hail mary if we go hyperinflation. But, I've been a doomer since like 2004 and we're still living OK...

laying the groundwork for CBDCs

Legislators are typically VERY reactive and not proactive....are there any states doing anything to put barriers against this push?

I believe Noem did something in SD as they are Credit Card company heavy, but not sure how it is a barrier to the future commie plans. Florida/TX/etc doing anything?

Let's not be naive to think that tranny and border security narratives aren't being pushed to keep this on the DL. Right-wing Politicians not being to proactively walk and chew gum is probably one of the most detrimental things in the fight against the Commiecrats.

Kunstler is one of the OG doomers.

Luckily, Cap’n “Joe Biden” is at the helm of this steaming garbage barge. His conference room full of geniuses is ready with the solution to our predicament: the long-mythologized Central Bank Digital Currency — a dream-come-true for would be tyrants… the Godzilla of unicorns whinnying atop the biggest rainbow of all: the promise of endless magic money for everybody, forever. All you have to do to get it is: surrender your decision-making power over your own life. The government will amalgamate your few remaining assets in a CBDC account, tell you exactly what to spend it on, and shut off your little card if you show any contrary impulses.

Clusterf--- Nation.

So the people that were called VRWC's and nuts in the times before you were born warning about this and the NWO are no longer nuts, correct?

There is no denying any of it, including the studies and CCP criteria comparisons for a social credit score...

quote:

LISTEN

He went on to say that: “CBDCs can’t solve every financial inclusion challenge, but they can work together with financial literacy and digital literacy.”

So, a CBDC would work with other policies like digital identities and digital wallets.

This goes hand in glove with what the World Bank Group described in November 2021. “Digital identity verification is essential to the operation of CBDCs, particularly in cross-border transactions. “

“Tradable digital assets must be tied to a digital identity system, which in turn should be tied to an automatic KYC and AML/CFT verification system.“

“This is a foundational step to the potential use of CBDCs, and emerging developments in regulatory and compliance technology may benefit central banks’ experiments in the digital currency space.”

Bo li described a CDBC as an eco-system, and that the data it would produce would be very valuable to third parties.

When questioned on how this transactional data could be used, Bo Li explained: “I can give you one example in China, those transaction data can be utilised by service providers in credit underwriting.”

Underwriting is the process by which the lender decides whether an applicant is creditworthy and should receive a loan.

“Those transaction data in terms of how many coffees I drink every day, where I buy coffee, do I use UBER every day and what kind of working hours I have.”

“Those non-traditional data can be very useful for financial service providers to give me a credit score and based on that credit score the service providers can give me a credit line without any face-to-face due diligence.”

He continues to say that this “will create value in addition to finance and that data can be very profitable, and that’s the value we are talking about to make it attractive to private sector players to join this eco system.”

It’s like the Chinese model, but every country has the option to do it differently. There is limited privacy. The IMF, World Bank, and BIS are also managing many central banks on these new products.
So do you think that the USA won't use the CCP's most intrusive methods of the digital currency and social credit score?

That the man who lives in a hut in Africa with no smart phone will be targeted for assistance? Like trusting UNICEF to solve world hunger?

Jebidiah D. Deplorable redneck will get a glowing social credit score just like Karen-Flake-Dumbass?

Rice, beans, and ammo are far more important that gold.

Ammo especially.

Definitely not as good as Proof of Work, but I get their point. We'll have to see how it plays out.

What Banks does Uncle Joe own right now by affiliation of favors? CitiBank and BOA.

Will they combine and be BOA Biden?
