What if only the legs have made their way out of the womb? Life?

What about only the head?

A premature baby born at 7 months = life, but a full-termer expected to be born tomorrow is not?

My Church is teaching abstinence that is 100% effective while contraception is not. I have a better question. When does a human life start and what is the significant event? Bet you don’t answer! Edit: So far you proved me right and haven’t answered. I’m going to quote this in an effort to shame you into answering. But we both know you have no shame! This post was edited on 5/13 at 10:36 pm

I am an atheist, and think the termination of an unwanted pregnancy is akin to murder. My parents made sure I understood how babies were made, and it never crossed my mind that it was the government's or anyone else's job to make sure I didn't create a unwanted child.

why are you not doing the only things proven capable of reducing the number of abortions?

Is there any other scenario where I should be able to harm/kill someone unless you aid me in some way? How is this taken even remotely seriously as some kind of justified reasoning? It’s the same argument made by the “then why aren’t you adopting all of the unwanted children?” crowd.

If I don’t do something to prevent the pregnancy, abortion is ok?
That’s so messed up.

I think people pretty much know where babies come from. So holding classes and showing slides might be interesting but then a waste of time.

I can see where abortion can be the right thing. Specially when one of the parents is a radical leftist and not likely to be a responsible parent or provide a positive atmosphere for nurturing a child. He He...And in several other cases. But using tax payer's money to pay for repeat abortions is tantamount to using abortion as a birth control. At some point these serial abortion repeaters need to be advised to get fixed and or face having it done involuntarily.

And no I'm not real excited about paying for trashy people's sex. Once maybe twice something can happen after that honey get ready to get fixed! And no you are not entitled to rubbers or whatever else is out there. I had my children and then cut it off at the number I could feed, educate and raise in a positive atmosphere. And got fixed. So everybody in my household including mom, dad and 4 siblings are college educated and gainfully employed except me and I am retired for the most part. And married to their original spouse.

Look, moron. Even the opinion of Roe v Wade didn't say definitively that human life begins at birth. The case turned greatly on the fact that Murder had never been defined at common law for anything other than an already born human being.

You like science, Climate Change Queer? OK, then you'll appreciate the fact that science clearly shows that an almost fully formed human is present in the womb not too long after conception.

But, this is a tough issue and I don't have all the answers. I just wanted to point out that you're stupid.

Who's melting? The people that have attempted to answer my question have been obvious evangelicals that say their abstinence only education really works, despite all evidence to the contrary. Others have tried to turn the debate into a "when does life begin" question. A few, like you, result to weak name calling ("poorly educated sicko!!1" ). Try harder if you're going to be the latter.

Why do you tie abortion with religion?

Why can’t we tie it to science?

Abortion isn’t an inherently religious issue.

Why don’t you tell us when life begins if not at conception?

I laugh at your inferiority!

I’ve posted twice with facts that blow your suppositions away. And asked a simple question that a grade school education could answer, and you run away.

Joined today, posted today, and got your arse handed to you today!

Apparently, you think that life begins at birth when a heartbeat begins a few months into a pregnancy. There’s babies born prematurely everyday. Would it have been justified to abort them if they weren’t born prematurely at that same span of the pregnancy?
