Baris went from MAGA to jootard overnight. Like a large direct deposit hit his account.

I watched 10 minutes of him and Barnes last night. He was still pretty cocky. Their spin is that this was an unsustainable primary one-off due to the money poured in, just erodes support from whatever the GOP base is now, and will hurt Republicans in November. We shall see.

Those two turned when the Iran conflict started.

I couldn't do 2 minutes of Barnes. That dude is the grifter of grifter dunces. Not sure what has happened to Baris over the last year. Did the Iran war flip him? I get that a lot of right wingers hate it, I get that, but he's been real aggressive.

I don't have the link, but I believe he botched Cassidy pretty bad as well.

What will his excuse be for Texas?

Money spent is one of the most significant bellwethers for an election. Everyone knew how much was being spent. Massie even cried about it on X regularly. He also started asking for donations while supposedly supporting sexual abuse victims, so it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that money matters.

The anti-Trump crowd keep pimping him as a great pollster, yet he didn't even factor in money, one of the most crucial data points. Baris has lost all credibility if he couldn't foresee the importance of money.

I imagine the thing that happened to Drudge happened to Barnes....

There is a large money actor trying to keep their finger on the scales.

DAVOS / EU / "City of London"

An idiom that represents the old European powers that still operate behind the scenes to influence the world.
