Charity begins at home. the wife and i just became foster parents to two children, giving us a total of 8 kids, 6 at home, 2 are adults. Two are officially adopted, two are fostered, one is unofficially adopted. The only other charity that we gave to last year was $1K to Ronald McDonald House.
You and your wife are to be commended. That’s quite a sacrifice, but your contribution is really a immeasurable. Positive impacts on young lives can impact future lives for generations.
My wife and I adopted twins 13 years ago that my step daughter gave birth to. She was still living with us, unmarried, and 18. She abandoned them, but wouldn’t let us adopt. It took a couple of years to convince her.

Libs never want to actually donate their own money. They just want to virtue signal about how more people should donate.
Added: I've probably given about $300 in supplies to this one homeless dude that is always on the side of the road. Over the last few months. Not to mention a few hundred dollas in help to a local church's food drive.
I'm not a wealthy guy, by any means.
