Resident progressives, please explain the affinity with Islam

I don’t get it.
You guys despise white conservative Christians due to their faithful ways but welcome Muslims with open arms and cheer their growth in numbers across the west. They are very religious you know, and reeeeeaaallllyyy intolerant of certain things.

This is expanded upon in an economics book I read recently called The Future of Capitalism by an Oxford professor. The left have become so paternalistic that protecting those perceived to be disadvantaged outweighs all else. Muslims are too attractive of a demographic in terms of growth rates for the left not to try and use them to their own political advantage.

It is mind boggling. Islam is a religion that wants to kill gays & are the epitome of actual INTOLERANCE. Yet because Muslims are not considered white they ignore that key fact & include them as part of their key demographic. They will eventually eat their own from inside & you are seeing the beginning of that with the war between AOC & her Muslim buddies with Pelosi & the establishment Dems. This is going to be interesting. And scary. I just wish gays would step up to the plate & realize what will happen if Muslims get control. They should listen to uber progressive Bill Maher on this issue...…………..
