I thought only teenage girls took Social Media so seriously.
Apparently Texans are soft, man...

Who are you to express this sentiment towards me? I don't answer to you. I've lit into other posters for making bad arguments worse than I tore your bullshite to shreds. I went easy on you. And I don't answer to you. So stick your "disappointment" where the sun don't shine. Respectfully.
Take your L next time and move tf on instead of doubling down on an illogical take. No one bats 1.000. You fricked up. It happens.

I’d be ok with this as long as…..
1. Any and all government funding these people have received throughout their life is deducted from their reparations check and returned to tax payers before they get their cut.
2. Anyone who excepts the payment will no longer receive any government assistance and is ineligible to take part in any other government entitlement program for the rest of their lives.
3. Africa is responsible for providing the funds for the reparations program since they were the source of this horrible time in our country’s history.

Serious question because I honestly don't know ... is AggieHank black? He acts more like a white liberal echo chamber that thinks he knows more about being black than actual blacks.

Ole Hank believes his academic training has allowed him to be Super Brotha. Just learning about oppression has given him more insight into the black condition than black people.
He's truly special.

It IS sort of ironic that a grown man who was perma-banned from the Aggies forum has such a hard-on for sending people to the woodshed.

Don't insult black folk like that.
He is a Liberal woman.

He probably got banned from other forums for insulting the Mods, but no matter.
I didn't mean to absolutely break another human being.
I'll leave him to heal.

Autitic progresives believe their academic training trumps real life experience.
Hank is part of the ultra woke white woman mob who constantly make a clown of themselves believing they're the moral compass and pretend to know fricking everthing.

No, and it really wasn't about race tbh. He painted himself into an ideological corner by acting as I'd he knew gay people better because he lived in Oak Lawn for a spell. I called him on his bs by making that same juxtaposition with black people and ghettos, and he bit on the bait without thinking it through. But then he wouldn't admit his frickup, and got mad he got dogpiled.

I wasn't asking just because of this thread.

Also, I'm the sort of person who enjoys debate for the sake of debate. Doesn't get personal often with me (including here). It's like a mental chess match. And I've taken my share of Ls. But when I have an ideological checkmate, I seize that advantage like a pit bull and beat my opponent over the head with it mercilessly until they recant/concede. That's my style. Again, not personal, but I go for the jugular.

I can dig it.
I've made no secret of the fact that my style is part and parcel with my opinion that Social Media in no way resembles real life.
I enjoy poking people and being silly/stupid, period.
It's a way of blowing off steam, nothing more.
There is literally nothing anyone can say on a message board to or at me that affects me in the real world.
Full confession: I do not in any way, shape or form "hate" Hank, I despise the Narcissistic character he portrays on the forum.

quote:And I enjoy DISCUSSION for the sake of discussion. I get INTO debates of course, but I PREFER discussion. Look back a week or so to the couple of threads in which Squirrel and LA and I just kicked around ideas about the history of the Near East, Judaism and later Christianity. Just DISCUSSING it was fun. No one was trying to convince anyone else that he was right or wrong.
I'm the sort of person who enjoys debate for the sake of debate.
Ooga keeps saying that "this is social media and not real life." That is (sort of) true, but I see this sort of forum as being a step above Twitter and Tik-Tok. The different format means that it CAN be a place that one CAN have those sorts of discussions.
And the simple fact is that there are probably a dozen or more posters here who are quite honestly both smarter AND better-informed than anyone with whom I get to interact in day-to-day life. Frankly, most lawyers are dumb as a fencepost, and unfortunately for years I have had to spend most of my time with them. And my neighbors out here in rural Texas don't have much interest in spending hours discussing the implications of the French Revolution, either. ("You talkin' about that queen that said her help should have some cake?")
So, I DO look forward to the in-depth discussions like the ones described above. And I DO find it both annoying and irritating when some gadfly insists upon jumping into one of those discussions for no reason other than to hurl childish insults to entertain himself ... like a child breaking things just to hear the noise it makes.
Ooga, I don't even really mind you, on those rare occasions that you participate in a discussion in good faith. The biggest problem with you (setting aside the "child breaking things" element of your personality) is your insistence upon posting outright lies. Not differing opinions. Outright, objective, verifiable untruths. You KNOW you are doing it, and you do it anyway, because you think it is funny. I have ZERO patience for that.

You can't quit me, can you?
I really, really broke you.
I tried to apologize, but you keep insulting me to evoke a response.
I hope everyone is paying attention and seeing your true nature.
Sorry for hurting you so much, buddy....

Don't philosophize in silliness threads, and don't act like an unruly child when people are trying to have a serious discussion.
It is not really that difficult.

Serious question: Have you ever thought about joining a more exclusive forum?
One with similarly high-minded, lofty persons seeking elitist discourse such as yourself?
I mean this IS a Sub-forum of an SEC Sports site, not some sort of gathering place for Mensa members.
