Also, what do you have to say about the large majority of the farming industry being subsidized and incentivized by our fed government? Is that somehow different? One’s food, one’s energy… both essentials. So is one evil while the other is good? We need all the energy we can get guys…. Solar, nuclear, oil and gas. This is how you make America great and independent. If you are really for that. Me personally? I wouldn’t phase out oil and gas for
Fifty to a hundred years unless technology moves by leaps and bounds. We need it all

Not very Christian response from you once again. Your schtick is old and worn. Get a life.

The Solar Tax Credit, also known as the Solar Investment Tax Credit (ITC), is a federal initiative to support the growth of solar industry in the United States. The ITC is a government subsidy by way of a tax credit. Since the ITC was introduced in 2006, the solar industry in the United States has grown by 10,000%.
The MISI report found that non-hydro renewable energy (primarily wind and solar) benefited from $158 billion in federal subsidies, or 16% of the total, largely in the form of tax policy and direct federal expenditures on research and development (R&D).
While the Federal government's $51.2 billion investment in solar and wind represents a large commitment, the impact on the industry and U.S. generation mix has been significant.

Renewables are an immoral scheme to enrich the few, at the expense of society.
It’s a scam.
It’s a scam.

For a year, huh?
What happens when the year is up? It can still power it, right?

Awesome… now do virtually every other industry. Lol.

Definitely not a Christian response. Pretty sure you just showed one of the seven deadly sins by your response.

An independent Texas would be fine.
Texas vs. Russia
- Texas produces 5.1 billion BPD
- Russia produces 11.3 BPD
- Texas has refining capacity of 5.1 million BPD
- Russia has refining capacity of 5.5 million BPD
- Texas is 268,597 sq miles, or .4% of the worlds land mass
- Russia is 6.323 million sq miles, or 11% of the worlds land mass
When you correct for land mass, Texas produces almost 11 times as much oil per day as Russia. Also, Texas refines almost 22 times as much oil per day as Russia.
Texas is the largest energy-producing state in the US:
More than 1/4 of the nation’s 100 largest oil field reserves are in Texas.
Texas has 27 refineries which is 29% of the total US capacity.
Texas generates more than half of the US total domestic production of oil and gas.
Texas is home to more than 32 energy related Fortune 500 companies.
If Texas were a country, we would be the 3rd largest natural gas producer and the 4th largest oil producer in by he world.

I’m calling it now. More people will die from “climate change” solutions over the next 10 years than would have without the “solutions” forced upon us.

I’m pretty sure I’ve come out looking knowledgeable and reasonable. So… God bless you bubba!

Congrats. Your state is large and has natural resources galore. And what of it brother?

Are these million dollar companies just throwing away cash and investing badly by putting their efforts into areas that would be problematic to efficiently produce energy?
Hell yes! The entire wind and solar industries would disappear overnight without government subsidies. They are all throwing away money.
Anyway, he didn’t say they don’t work when it’s hot, just that they are less efficient. Cars are also less efficient when it’s hot. Air conditioners are less efficient when it’s hot, too.

If you think so skippy...
I admire your spunk but you will realize that there are going to be people in the world that know more about solar panels and "clean energy" including the policies behind a lot of it in this country than a contractor that goes around installing solar arrays happens to know...
