Kimmel and Carolla are a decent case study in how people develop. Carolla is running a pirate ship, and sort of bleeds "Man Show" energy in every podcast episode, and he profits. Kimmel ended up on TV (arguably the bigger job,) and went nearly Howard Stern crazy to satisfy his writers and the audience he thought he wanted. But I'm still downloading Carolla, and I DGAF about Jimmy since he fell in lock step with the COVID/Trump hate BS. Be funny, dumbass.
