And all slave movies have used it as a template. Black women can’t get enough of that shite. Little innocent black slave girl being beaten and raped by evil white mazzers.
Look at how they took the white father figures of Hollywood and made them each evil.
Brady bunch dad
Bonanza dad
Walton’s dad
The rifleman
And of of course Mary Tyler moore’s father figure
There’s probably more. And of course disneys innocent sandy duncan was an evil white bitch

I don't know what it means though.
Really?
He means that it was a turning point in the cultural battle that we are now losing.

I watched Roots live as it was broadcasted and you are right.
The women watching it were being indoctrinated.
They didn’t know it at the time and I didn’t either cause I was a dumbass
kid but looking back it was a seminal moment.

I can't take credit, OWLFAN is the author of this theory.
All I did was understand his post.

I will never forget watching Bound for Freedom in 3rd grade.
We then went out and played kick ball. Probably had that rectangular pizza for lunch. Watched an old Munsters rerun when I got home because Herman Munster was in the movie and I had a thing for Lily Munster.

Civil Rights Act of 1964 says hi.

Just curious. How many people pronounce “Roots” to rhyme with “foots” and not “boots”. If you rhyme it with “foots”, you’re an arrogant self-absorbed douche bag, like the Dabney Coleman character.
