As someone who pays a shitload in property taxes (probably enough to "fund" at least one kid in terms of the per student funding where I live), with a daughter being homeschooled, I would be ecstatic to have some kid go to the local Catholic school (I'm not Catholic) whose family would otherwise not be able to afford them attending.
In summary, if the citizens of Oklahoma are ok with it, I'm ok with it.
