There are two religions in existence in the west that a religious opposition would be legitimately grounded in, and I doubt anyone on this board is either of them

Accept or try to fight with a religious discrimination case/EEOC complaint? Anyone know of anyone in a similar predicament and currently pursuing litigation over such a matter?

This week I was terminated from my employer of 6.5 years due to not getting the vaccine. I have always had great performance reviews and have never been insubordinate. I submitted a religious exemption in which they did not even deny it, just simply outright terminated me. I was offered a severance of 14 weeks. What would you do? Accept or try to fight with a religious discrimination case/EEOC complaint? Anyone know of anyone in a similar predicament and currently pursuing litigation over such a matter?

First off, I’m really sorry to hear this happen to you as an American, but this is a very broken America, and one in which does not honor God anymore, regardless of the occasional hallow words that have no real meaning from the heart, and so you can bank on the fact that those Godly inspired rights and liberties will not be championed by such a people anymore. The Bible tells us to stand firm. You’re doing the right thing, and I believe if you keep your heart to what is righteous before God, He will bless you for that. While these people do not reward faithfulness, your Heavenly Father most assuredly does and will reward that faithfulness, and He will provide. I’d just encourage you to keep your motivation focused on standing against the unrighteousness of this and keep yourself submitted to Him. These people lose, and their kingdom will come crumbling down at their feet. Take heart.

My denomination specifically calls out liberty of conscience in our controlling standards as a valid religious reason not to participate. We include that in our exemption letters.

Liberty of conscience only applies if you consciencously object to the vaccine itself, not the mandates in principle. Only Christian scientists and Jehovah’s witnesses can claim that.

It’s like claiming you should be exempt from seatbelt laws because you oppose government regulation in principle, not seatbelt wearing itself.

The mandate, itself, isn't the primary or only issue with conscience. Here is a portion from an exemption letter that my church provides:

"First, whereas rules prohibiting infected employees from coming to the workplace are welcome, rules requiring employees to disclose their vaccination status and/or to place a foreign drug within their bodies conflict with fundamental human rights to privacy. Thus, even vaccinated Christians may have a conscientious objection to disclosing their status with a view to protecting the liberties of their fellow employees. The Christian whose conscience testifies that vaccination policies deprive co-workers of God-given rights cannot disclose his vaccination status without sinning against his neighbor and contributing to a hostile work environment.

Second, there is a fundamental moral distinction between harming oneself or one’s neighbor passively or actively. An unvaccinated individual may inadvertently contract Covid-19, as with many viruses. In contrast, the individual who pursues vaccination must be an active participant in placing a foreign substance in his body, that has proven harmful to some. It is one thing for a healthy person to incur an illness, as divine providence would have it, by no intentional activity of his own. It is another thing for a healthy individual to intentionally utilize a drug that can have severe adverse effects in others, and possibly contribute to his own harm. For the Christian who views the latter as an especial violation of the 6th commandment—"thou shall not kill”—he/she cannot become vaccinated without sinning.

Third, the long-term effects of all Covid-19 vaccines are unknown. Determination of exactly how unknown future consequences should come to bear on present decisions is a distinct matter of conscience, since there is no hard rule by which the unknown can be weighed. The Christian whose conscience will not allow him/her to risk incurring unknown adverse consequences cannot become vaccinated without sinning."

What’s really beginning to concern me is how many Americans are just accepting the pandemic insanity as a sensible reason to surrender their personal freedoms….scary stuff y’all.
