I don't really like communicating on internet message boards of any kind. I prefer to talk to people in real life.
I also recognize that my post is a drive-by potshot and that's not fair to you. But I find you to be more full of yourself than just about anyone else on tigerdroppings, and that's quite an accomplishment.

Have you ever intentionally surrounded yourself with a group of misled people, and then tried to get one of them to admit they are being lied to? It's not easy to do without appearing to be "full of oneself", especially on a political board.

1. I wouldn’t say it is a lie as presented. I would say it misrepresents the situation without telling the whole story which you would like to tell.
2. I believe the way it is presented is done in a way that exposes the opposing position he is debating for their manipulation in debate.
3. You have used “random victims” as an explanation of this misrepresented statistic. I agree that people are not picking victims because of their race. You are stating they are more likely to appear more violent due to the larger racial group which they could randomly victimize. I think the whole use of race is a poor start of a study. As stated previously it should begin with different social behaviors, education, and economics. The statistics should not be normalized by the victim’s characteristics, but by the characteristics of the offender.

Fine. Whatever. But the raw numbers alone make black people seem pretty dangerous, especially to each other. And certainly these stats show that all of your side’s violence and crying is all out of proportion to the actual problem.
It’s like a mom freaking out about the possibility of killer bees attacking her child but ignoring the abusive stepdad in the house.
