You need to look up the definition of "perjury".

A perjury conviction requires a DELIBERATE and MATERIAL misstatement of fact, not some inconsequential error.

Great let them lawyer up and go to court. Mueller has shown he is an ace in the courtroom.

Corsi isn't being charged with perjury, he's being charged with lying to the FBI. This is a different section of Title 18, with different elements altogether. Perjury cannot be proven if one believes their statement to be true, because it isn't fraudulent. Lying to the FBI requires a statement only be false or fictitious for a charge to be sustained.

I see you're talking out your arse.

Here's the relevant statute:

18 U.S. Code § 1001 - Statements or entries generally
US Code

(a) Except as otherwise provided in this section, whoever, in any matter within the jurisdiction of the executive, legislative, or judicial branch of the Government of the United States, knowingly and willfully
(1) falsifies, conceals, or covers up by any trick, scheme, or device a material fact;
(2) makes any materially false, fictitious, or fraudulent statement or representation; or
(3) makes or uses any false writing or document knowing the same to contain any materially false, fictitious, or fraudulent statement or entry;

In other words, just as I said.

Here's an example for your idiot arse:

-John says he went to the store at 8:00 pm.

-Jane says John went to the store at 9:30 pm.

John believes his time and Jane believes her time. If the statement is material to an investigation, this is sufficient to sustain a charge of lying to the FBI. John made the statement knowingly and wilfully because he believed it to be true, but once again, his belief in its truth or falsity is irrelevant. The Feds have a contradictory statement from another person.
