Fusion GPS is a product of the internet. News orgs could no longer afford to pay investigative journalists a salary for a story that might not pan out. So, the MSM moved to a click bait format. Investigative stories are "outsourced" to a firm like fGPS so MSM can get heavy hitting stories. However, they aren't necessarily true. fGPS is also the place that third world country politicians go to PURCHASE stories that destroy their enemies or political opposition.
fGPS charges entities to come up with dirt against their enemies, and conveniently MSM buys stories from them as well without verifying facts. The reputation of what this firm does for a paycheck should alarm people. This company needs to be destroyed.

Mary Jacoby, the wife and biz partner of Simpson, visited the White House the week Mike Rogers told the FISA court they had been accessing the NSA databank. Within two weeks Fusion had hired Steele and Nellie Ohr.
They didnt just report "things". They paid for and invented "things" then reported them. That is sedition and probably treason, its certainly not just bad reporting.
The whole FISA is not the issue, the issue is the spying before the FISA, which was used to retroactively make the spying legal because it was a counter intel claim, which allows backdating and double hopping.
