I completely agree with Rand. No back room deals. We should know what is being put in this bill

Rand is great, but he just doesn't inspire people. I wish I could shove Trump's heart and spine into Rands body.

It's hypocrisy that Republicans would push thru legislation in the same manner as Obamacare. They should be embarrassed.

PS - oh crap... I said "they". FML....

Interesting dynamic, Rand is the only Republican with any credibility in Washington. Rand stays true to himself then he will be our President some day.

Well anti-nanny state views don't really inspire people who want their own nanny-state, unless that person is Rand's father.

Eh, bullshite. What Rand is selling still has appeal in America. Meanwhile, Trump is a big government type that has american conservatives cheering for his stimulus and defense largesse. Charisma matters.

"Infrastructure project is an investment in youths future."

Means, this is the metrics for Republican support.

Republicans are generally good with this. Most will come around.

On defense there is no excuse to build up the military IMO Trump is dead wrong.

It's that the whole problem? It's in a basement or something, right?

Supposedly its not there either. I think it might just be a brief outline with no real details but Ryan is scared to admit it so he's playing 3 card monte with the "bill".

Apparently not as much as the tea-party movement would have led us to believe.

Charisma matters, but it's probably also garnered a lot of support because it's their big government.

In the end, it's clear that many weren't for small government, they were for their big government and/or they are so foolish and unprincipled that Charisma is enough to change their minds and support the same type of policies they were so vehemently against. Worse yet, many of those are likely to loudly call out the same hypocrisy on the left, but fail to see their own.
