Yeah, because these pandering efforts have never caused their existing consumer base to bolt while not having the new crowd show up.
I mean, I haven't seen any back down. Certainly, it's always a gamble. That is what business is and nothing is ever a sure thing. There may even be outliers that do back down or regret it. The overall trend is very clearly in one direction and it is being supported by a large sample of different organizations all coming to the same conclusion.
I think that just drives my point harder though. They aren't making these decisions without very careful calculations that limit risks.

They don’t back down until the people making the push get fired.
Walmart had a few people who were changing up their product lines in order to cater to a new crowd. All that happened was that their old crowd was pissed they couldn’t get what they wanted, Walmart lost money, and Walmart fired the people responsible so they could correct course.

Could you link me to what you are referring to?
The only thing I found was this article from June with statements from Wal Mart's CEO pledging 100 million to "fight systemic racism" and calling Floyd's death "is tragic, painful and unacceptable".

These are amoral organizations who only exist to make money and are legally bound by their shareholders to act in such a manner.
Dude we have seen so many examples of Get Woke, Go Broke like the NBA it’s insane. How can you say that these corporations act in their shareholders best interest of money? The individuals that run these companies are people, and these people bend the knee to the mob in fear of getting cancelled personally.

Fells, no. Money does not matter to these people when weighed against social justice. Every single CEO would sink their own company and every outfit sink their own reputation to stop OMB and anything similar.
Case in point, journalism over the past decade. The Kavanaugh hearings. Faith in the FBI. The NFL and NBA sticking a gun into its own mouth just to virtue signal. Disney spending billions on woke Star Wars. Money does not matter to these people

I may buy some tomorrow. I wish they would go after NKLA and in the process wreck Hindenburg. I put Hindenburg in the same category as Bill Ackman. Dishonest scum! Would love to see both go bankrupt!

So NASCAR dropped a rainbow flag on their logo because of "limp wristed binaries and college professors"?
You realize that they are a corporation, right? Your point doesn't make any sense unless the overwhelming majority of this country is limp wristed binaries and college professors.
When confronted about the ridiculousness of your perspective, you just screech vague threatening nonsense.
Isn't very indictive of a rational person.
You fail to realize is the Left sees their political ideology as a religion
They'll sacrifice profits if it means furthering their agenda. This sounds absurd to the Right but it's why they win so much with such a bullshite message.
