It’s been 38 percent for Trump all the way back to the last election. They are still polling the same people that flat out lied to pollsters last time regarding their candidate of choice.

Given how the midterms turned out, I don't think Republicans and conservatives should just write this all off. I don't think this poll is an accurate reflection of the sentiment of the voting base, and I think Trump is positioned to win in 2020, but I think the left wing media has been effective at demonizing him and turning suburban white women against him that simply sat out last election.
