Trump is out of office, no longer President of the United States.

Why is this impeachment trial by the Senate so important? Whats their objective? they are going to need 67 votes to convict and is that attainable?

I really believe TDS is REAL and that Democrats and the Media just cant stop thinking about him and obsessing over him.

They don't want Trump to run again in 2024.

In the past I would have said "no way".

But now that Trump is out of office, I think the backstabbing's will continue.

Are there 17 Republican senators who are willing to put their careers on the line over this?

It is unconstitutional for congress to "impeach" a private citizen. (which now technically Trump is.)

I believe a large part of the reason is to serve as a direct warning to any outsiders who dare even think about becoming the next Trump, to drop any and all thoughts of it immediately. Try to disrupt their multi-billion dollar get rich for free club and they will relentlessly come after you in order to ruin you and your family until the day you die, by any means necessary.

I didn’t think it was possible to hate anything as much as I’ve grown to hate the pieces of human trash in DC, both R and D. frick them all

That's the argument.

Historically, I think it has happened at least once and maybe twice.
