They think of...
White guilt- everything is through a racial lens
The income inequality is too much. Don't want to carry water for the rich.
Pro choice- even past birth. My buddy admitted it last week when confronted. Very concerned about pulling back any abortion rights at all.
Public education. They are skeptical of religion influence
A moral high ground constantly because they feel they fight for the people and the republicans don't
It all sounds good to them and the media and Hollywood keep the narrative alive for them that they are correct in their thinking.
You have to go out of your way to be a conservative in most big cities and progressive areas. You can just not think about what you absorb and easily fall into a progressive mind trap

I am a registered independent, but most of my friends (male or female) are democrats.
What makes them different from this board is that almost all of them are atheists and have masters/phds/law degrees. I personally would be a republican if they would focus on fiscal responsibility (like they claim but they don't do), and stop talking about religion.
