There ain't one.
Amazing isn't it.

I'd love someone to explain the morality of a 30-day response time for request for admissions.

He lacks any personal intuition.

I guess that depends on the lawyer.
CRT was born in law school. Many are absolute statists.
Look who makes up our govt contingency in DC. We elect lawyers who create more of a need for themselves through legislation and regulation.
Its the biggest crony job in the world.

I think your questions assumes a predicate that does not or should not exist.
So perhaps you can address the question another lawyer here has overlooked.
Did Binger behave ethically in the Rittenhouse trial?

Overlooked or deliberately ignored?
He’s already walked back his earlier statement about the law and morality.

I honestly think he has major holes in his worldview and cannot see things the way normal people do.
I'm still divided if this is a shitty act or he's really that sociopathic.

That and being a sociopath aren’t necessarily mutually exclusive.

Absolutely this.
It’s a self-perpetuating game.

Yeah, the symptoms probably look very similar. My older brother is a CPA, he's got the issue. But... he can deep dive academically.

I think most people think it's good, sadly. Why our fedgov has gotten so big and our Constitutional rights have become so trampled.
Posted on 5/21/24 at 10:28 am to RogerTheShrubber
It is not immoral to defend a client who killed someone. Someone accused of a crime has rights that need to be defended. Otherwise you just lynch people in a mob, on the basis of an accuser who may have dark motives. You defend the process and the rights of a defendant, not his conduct. The result is no one fears a knock in the night to be hauled into jail for dictator’s retribution or unlimited bad reasons. If you cant grasp this it is not the fault of the judicial system.

It was unprofessional for sure, but unethical is probably a stretch. The judge also addressed the issue directly and pretty emphatically.
The larger problem was the judge being wishy washy about ruling on certain motions. Had he been stronger pre-trial, it's unlikely the door was opened, and, had Binger attempted the same course, THEN it would be in the realm of ethical violation.

I literally brought this up earlier, with no response, either.
I have represented a person who killed another person. I got the charges dismissed. Was that immoral?
