The problem is your entire premise. It begins with the assumption that the end goal MUST be that one gets the shot. That's not freedom. That's authoritarianism.

The best way to make sure I get the shot (and I assume others) is that if people shut up about it, as its none of their business, and like every other vaccination trust that the person next to you is making a relevant decision for themselves, and stop worrying about forcing people to do something.

If I feel I am low risk to spread, low risk to suffer, low risk to be affected - then its my choice. The public circle of trust happens when we can look next to each other and assume that they have good intentions and make good choices for their life, and that whatever choices I make, are the same.

If someone else gets the vaccine, they should not have to worry about ANYONE else. So there should be no reason to talk about it.


The more people talk about it and push it, the less I want to get it, because there is something wrong with this kind of push.
