I saw somewhere he said he is giving away his entire fortune to charity. What exactly does this mean when these mega billionaires say this? This is not the first time I have seen one of these guys say or do something similar. If I'm not mistaken Zuckerberg and Bill Gates have also said such things. I assume it's some sort of ploy to hide or reallocate their assets to avoid being taxed, etc.

Someone needs to redpill him. It can be done. A while back he went on a Twitter rant about Biden’s spending causing runaway inflation.

You have billions, the government takes 40% over 12 million, so you start a 501c3.
You can now put sizable assets into that entity and generations can live off of it forever.

Yes it’s a charitable foundation/trust with 501c(3) exemption.
The heirs sit on the board and get paid handsomely, travel on the foundation’s dime everywhere they go, and live like kings all the while handing out 10-15% of the earnings a year.
Look at the Clinton, Obama, Bush crime family foundations for examples.
