The difference between the current nuclear powers, declared and otherwise, and Iran is that, excluding North Korea, they're all demonstrated rational actors. The Western nuclear powers (US, UK, France), the commies/former commies (Russia, Red China), even India and Pakistan. Only North Korea of the currently known nuclear powers could be considered unstable and unpredictable.
Iran with nukes would be an absolute nightmare for humanity.

Do you really think the threat to Israel is via “the Iranian Navy” and that the threat to the United States would be from a uniformed member of the IRG? Any idea what the Quds Force role would be? This is so short sighted it's pitiful. Iran gets bomb, intimidates it's neighborhood neighbors and then controls the middle east. They weaponize oil to the rest of the world and cause worldwide economic collapse which in turn causes ours.
I have nothing against religion but they are a theocracy that does not mind dying for their cause.

Sort of. There are still attacks going on, but the amount of ballistic missile launches and drone attacks have reportedly dropped by somewhere over half.
The more Iran's ability to fund and stock groups like the Houthis, the more likely we are to see those attacks continue to drop.
