The bible is hundreds of pages long. Where does it say this?

The promises of God are many
He knew us before even birth
quote:

Jeremiah 1:5
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
before you were born I set you apart;
I appointed you as a prophet to the nations

He is our God for life
quote:

Isaiah 46:4
I will be your God throughout your lifetime – until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you.

He is there for those abandoned by their parents
quote:

Psalm 27:10
Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me.

Again he knows us in the womb.
quote:

Psalm 139:13-18
13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
17 How precious to me are your thoughts, God!
How vast is the sum of them!
18 Were I to count them,
they would outnumber the grains of sand—
when I awake, I am still with you.

God cares deeply for us and knows all.
quote:

Matthew 19:29-31
Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care.
30 And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
31 So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

To children belong heaven
quote:

Matthew 19:14
14 Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

To read scripture is to know the will of God, his character is revealed over time.

Maybe venture outside of whatever area in Louisiana you live in?

don't live in La, Junior. Youre just easily impressed.

Stepping over the homeless to get to the train, having to smell them and listen to them "rap" is something I can do without for the rest of my life.

It’s strange you posted all of that and not once saw the irony.

I think he saw, and explained, the irony.

I'll never understand why people ride mass transit

Sometimes, people have no choice.

Also, riding public transit is extremely safe, in spite of these notable exceptions. This is just a guess, but riding public transit probably increases one’s chance of suffering violent crime at about the same rate as going to a Saints game, a Mardi Gras parade, or a festival. We see cherry-picked newsy items and think that’s the prevailing situation, when it’s actually not.
