absolutely. people can find purpose in anything really. meaning is impossible without a purpose that transcends time though.

In general I agree. I would tweak your statement a little, i.e., apart from God there is no transcendent authority or objective basis for morality.
But it's kinda interesting perusing the responses that even the self-professed fools (atheists) have a difficult time jettisoning all moral standards. It's hard for them to kick against the goads.

God created man in His image (that means much more than stated here) which includes the ability to choose to love, worship, and obey the Creator against the backdrop of competing alternatives. Another of God's created beings was Satan, an angel.Satan wasn't God but wanted to be like God.
Satan deceived and tempted the first man (Adam) to disobey God's commandment. He chose wrongly. And as a result we now live in a fallen world replete with natural disasters, malicious evil form our fellow humans, accidents, consequences from sinful decisions, wars, decaying health, Satanic action, etc.
This world is fallen. Its ecology is not what God originally created. But God so loved us He sent His only Son (Jesus the Messiah) to save fallen man from eternal damnation. In so doing, there's a new heaven and a new earth without evil for His followers.
So curious, why do you think there's evil?

It is a matter of faith, although God is present and evident in all of His creation.
There is no need to be bitter, what is where you are. I would also ask you to prove there is no God. Atheists like you have just as much faith as I do, it is however focused on the belief there is no God.

Funny that I said not a single thing that would make me sound bitter but the religious guy decided to lie and make things up.
I thought God and religion is the reason people do good, and yet the religious guy is the one not able to have a simple discussion without the personal shots and making things up.

I took no personal shots, you just sound bitter. Generally, atheists get upset that people do believe in God, which is clearly the case here.
Atheism is a religion in and of itself, you believe that humans are the pinnacle of creation, above God in the sense that you do not believe in God.
As bigfoot analogy, you are missing the point. I have faith that there is a God and that Jesus is my Lord and Savior. Is there proof that would satisfy you, no. However, there is plenty of proof from non-biblical counts of Jesus and his works, coupled with the majesty of creation. From those things, I derive my faith, not to mention what the Holy Spirit has done in my life. You just need to open your heart.

You claiming that I am a hypocrite is comical. I have nothing against you. I do believe that you are wrong in your disbelief. To each their own, I suppose, but I do pray for you and all non-believers that you harden not your hearts.
God is absolutely real, and one day you will be confronted with that fact, hopefully you are in the right place at that time. I can’t imagine being so sure that there is no God that you are willing to bet your soul on it. Although, I suppose you don’t believe in souls. Either way, peace be with you.
