The chanting " you cannot lock us up" is not just but if democrats get one inch of power they shall lock us up.
Early voting ( ballot harvesting) has begun in some States.

Not enough info for a thread. People like you aren't interested in facts about this issue.
The President keeps lying about the Kennedy Center. For instance, the Center doesn't lose "hundreds of millions of dollars every year." In fiscal year 2024, the last year before Trump took control by making himself Chairman of the Board, the Center made a net profit of over $40 million.
Your video shows Americans protesting their government and exercising their free speech to combat the President's lies about the Center.

What a disingenuous lie. They are protesting the fact that Trump won't spend the $257 million of public money to renovate the Center unless he gets to put the Trump name on JFK's memorial.

There's no independent verification of Trump raising a dime for the Center. He's run it into the ground by chasing off revenue producing events.
The $17 million is probably what's in the account from funds raised for the Washington Opera. If money is needed in addition to the $257 already provided by Congress, make a request for emergency funding from Congress.

They would rather the building rot before Trump gets an inkling of credit for anything much less construction managing.
The Kennedys wont step in with 17million. Let the building rot. If Trump offered anything they will say no. and protest.

It doesn't belong to the Kennedys. It belongs to the people of the United States. We decided through our representatives in Congress to spend $257 million to renovate the Center. If the President doesn't want to do that, he should resign as Chairman.
We also decided that the Center is to exclusively honor JFK. Don't like the law? Change it.

That seems like a lot considering the $40-45 million in tax money they get yearly for the purpose of operating and maintenace.

We already know congress has no problem throwing our money around.
I'm questioning the wisdom of the people responsible for taking taxpayer money and using it for its intended purposes...for years.
Remove that government freebie (I know, we can't) and the center runs negative...including 2024.

I have no idea. Apparently, whoever drafted the BBB thought $257 million was money well spent.
The law prohibits the Center from being anything but a memorial to JFK. Including Trump's name would violate the law. Don't like the law? Change it.
If President Trump refuses to follow the law regarding the Center, it was probably a bad idea to make himself Chairman of the Board.

Classic slight of hand accounting. Never accrue or spend money on repairs and maintenance, let the next guy take over and suddenly we are stuck with a 257million dollar repair bill.
So Trump is correct when he says it will lose 100s of millions if the repairs are done.
