I know this would never be implemented, but here is the proposal.

Every election, you write in the name of one Senator and one House Rep from outside your State.

The top vote getter from each party would be removed from office regardless of the results of the election and a special election would be held the following year with one caveat.

To block a recall, the individual would have to receive more votes in their state/district than the number of national votes to evict.

Example: Ilhan Omar receives 500,000 total votes and wins her seat, but 750,000 nationwide voters outside Minnesota write her name in. She is expelled.

Example 2: Ted Cruz won his seat in 2018 with just under 4.27 million votes. He receives 4 million write in votes. Eviction failed.

WSB style leftists would pick one really good member of congress and unify to make them get booted while the right wing would distribute votes against a litany of Dems. The result every time would be the loss of one of the few good Republicans.

The "not being able to write in a name from your own state" part complicates that.

Also, right now a lot of "right wing" folks would write in Adam Kinzinger or Liz Cheney.

This could be a way to bust the jungle primary system in some states.

If you amend the requirement to require a vote for 1 Republican AND 1 Democrat or 2 Independents (not both) from each Chamber of Congress you can bust that tactic as well.

I doubt it. Have you seen the state of our elections?

Who would you write in?

I know you know House districts are a few hundred thousand tops

And then you remove them in a special election and they’ll just vote someone similar back in

Agree. A much better proposal is a limitation of a single 6 year term for Senators and a single 4 year term for Reps.

Between the eviction and the special election the seat remains vacant.

Might want to think that one through. That would mean the population centers could pick off any Republican candidate they choose, at any time they choose. Oh, 9 million people in New York and California want Rand Paul out? Done. There aren’t that many voters in Kentucky. Every single Republican would be picked off, and almost none of the marxist democrats would.

How about just eliminating the districts of members of the squad forever? They obviously despise our great country.

Why further mess with a system that has been working as intended for nearly 250 years. The last time someone tried to improve upon the recipe we ended up with senators elected by popular vote essentially making them another version of the house. Stop messing with what’s working.

How many of them will take the time to write in that vote? It's not a matter of checking a block, you would have to not only correctly spell the name, but write it so it is legible.

So citizens of other states could decide who represents me in my state. I’d rather not have California and New York having input on outside elections .

That’s a whole lot of nope for me.
