Proposal to ban congressional hearings

Let's face it, nothing ever came out of a congressional hearing.
Ever.
Why do we go through this charade? It's like a strip club; everybody watches and we all pretend like there's going to be some excitement that comes of it, but it never does. It's a politics cock-tease.
The whole thing just gives congressmen a chance to grandstand and trick their base into thinking they're doing something useful. When in reality, all we're doing is watching them make it rain on some horse faced meth head with a C-section scar. It's repulsive.

They have no authority. They can only expose wrongdoing and hope the AG does something.

It's a big grandstanding opportunity. Today, the republicans got to get their shots in. The left was able to scream about "IT IS (current date) AND THERE ARE (kids or some shite) AWAY FROM THEIR PARENTS BECAUSE OF (down playing of entering the country illegaly...or some other crime) BECAUSE OF (Trump or republicans)."

Sadly it can’t happen. Congress has the power of the purse. They have “oversight” aka hearings.
