The JCPOA was never going to work
No way to know that. It appeared to be working insofar as blocking a path to nukes and laid a foundation for future diplomacy.
You know what definitely didn’t work? Undermining our own diplomacy 2 years in, replacing it with nothing, escalating, and then assassinating Soleimani.
Also the primary point of the post you were responding to was that the “pallets of cash” refers to seized Iranian assets released after lifting of sanctions.

Yes, there was: decades of history not just with Iran but with other similarly hardline regimes.

Which comes out to: "Oh, it looks like instead of losing all 5 fingers we'll get to keep the proximal phalange of our pinky for at least a little while! Diplomacy! Huzzah!"
They never stopped engaging in terror acts, even going so far as to increase them in some theaters. Along with that, Iran could delay IAEA access to sites up to 24 days, so even the inspectors said they had no way to confirm Iran wasn't working on enrichment beyond the agreement either by moving equipment and materials during delays or using undeclared sites.

You have no idea how many raw materials essential to our every day consumables come through there.
Euros are playing a stupid, stupid game. If we cut of the American spigot, their welfare-state utopias disappear overnight like a puff of smoke. How grateful would say, Poland be if we moved all the bases in Germany to there? How much are they willing to pay for American oil when Iran and Russia cuts off their supply. China?
We are hold a straigt flush, they have a pair of dueces.

Weird that they haven’t then.
For frick's sake, if we didn't enter WW2 Great Britian would be a German-speaking country today. Meanwhile, they sit on their hands and say "This isn't our war", GB, Italy, and Spain are about to learn a very hard lesson. Don't poke the bear.
As our Marines often say, "We can be you best ally, or your worst enemy" and we have massive amount of ways of fricking them up. If we weren't in the way, there is no doubt Iran could march on London and Paris if the wanted. Europe has severly neglected their military for decades.

Do you have any idea what would happen if they did do that? They are, at least, smart enough to know what the reatialition would be
I wonder what all the fuss about nukes is then if they wouldn’t even use one if they had it? You gotta pick a lane.
