They are “subject to the jurisdiction thereof” that their parents are citizens of. If one of them is an American citizen, then they are an American citizen. If not, get fricked.
You do understand it was made up by a SCOTUS justice, correct? It just has to be corrected by SCOTUS now to end it.

MOAR REGULATION.
Its nannysim. Same as when progressives pushed prohibition.
It was progressives who were behind the alcohol ban
Progressives seek to further "society" and conservatives seek to advance the individual.
I dont know why you want to save people from themselves when they already hate us.

Because youre a collectivist.
You want whats "you think" is best for society, I am old school conservative and dont care if Society falls apart.
We can build a new one. Protectionism does nothing more than stifle individual growth and potential, and puts money and power in the hands of the elite

Do you prefer innovation, consumer choice and lower costs?
If youre a conservative, you would know protectionist policies take much of these away

It's been pretty clear for 126 years....Supreme Court settled it.

There was no new paradigm.

He does not realize that he keeps inching ever closer to national socialism

There is a sizeable population on here who honestly believe that if you're not legally present in the US you have no constitutional protections. They're crazy.
The Constitution and its protections were established for the People OF the United States, not people merely in the United States.
Anyone claiming that birthright citizenship, in the context of anchor babies, is legitimate and found in the 14th Amendment is lying.
It's interesting that you so often cling to technical drivel, procedure, and throw around words like precedent, but then act as though this arbitrary and whimsical footnote is of such a quality as to bind a nation to accept an invasion and violation of its sovereignty.
Here is Ann Coulter discussing this briefly and even mentioning that federal judge, Richard Posner, not a conservative Republican partisan in any sense, disagrees with you. Even Harry Reid argued against this interpretation.
Anchor babies are not legal or legitimate.

There should at least be provisos that birthright citizenship only works if you are here legally with permission to work and a job secured.
That will require a Constitutional amendment.
How so? We have laws limiting firearm ownership and possession when the second amendment says "shall not".

Eliminating things in our food supply such as cancer-causing dyes and pesticides is not “nannyism”
Nor is it the same thing as prohibition.
If you want to advance individuals, removing shite from our food supply and medicine that is killing us seems like a good place to start.
Of course, you know this already.
