I think that if it were to happen (it wont) it would have to be only the most violent offenders. People that are beyond rehabilitation.

The DOJ and Intel community decided the J6ers were criminals. That came from the executive branch. Trump is arguing (rightfully so IMO) that the executive has the power to make these kinds of decisions.
Are you ok with Trump's reasoning being used by a Democrat to do the same shite?
You can enforce laws without going overboard. Sending US citizens elsewhere is going overboard.
