I posted an article yesterday where the mayor of Laredo was saying he’d fine people not wearing them $1000!

Serious, is this even legal... How can they make someone wear something?

Yes it’s legal, it’s also legal to stone a woman to death for not wearing hers in public.

So, what can't I do if I refuse to wear a mask?

Let others decide for themselves if they want to wear one.

I don't think I suggested otherwise.

Sometimes I wonder how Biden is leading in the “polls” an then I read some the responses on TD. The government is pissing all over the constitution and 90 percent of the population seems to be fine with it.

I don't have a problem with it. I live in a metro area, am 72 years old, and with underlying health issues. It's not that big of a deal to me.

Then you can do it on your own. You don’t need the government to tell you to wear one. Why should I be directed to do this stupid shite?

I am amazed at how many fricking sheep we have in this country.

I won't be wearing a mask. If my office wants me to wear a mask, I'll work from home.

And what will you do if your boss says you won't work from home?

Do people even realize those masks aren't airtight?

Yes.
This is all based on the CDC’s latest findings today.

LINK ]Recommendations for Cloth Face Covers mask
quote:

We now know from LINK ]recent studies that a significant portion of individuals with coronavirus lack symptoms (“asymptomatic”) and that even those who eventually develop symptoms (“pre-symptomatic”) can transmit the virus to others before showing symptoms. This means that the virus can spread between people interacting in close proximity—for example, speaking, coughing, or sneezing—even if those people are not exhibiting symptoms. In light of this new evidence, CDC recommends wearing cloth face coverings in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain (e.g., grocery stores and pharmacies) especially in areas of significant community-based transmission.

Oh I get it. Just disappointing this is what our Constitutional Republic and Bill of Rights have become.
thanks, and I get this as well. I think this exposes a vulnerability to our country. At least with government intervention, I’m proud as hell watching the private sector work for the country as a collective good (for the most part, looking at you 3M and any others).

There are too many Barney Fife types out there who think this virus gives them new and untested powers.

You've been living in one all your life. Sports and entertainment are distractions from reality.

There are about 50 other things that have already happened that are way more threatening to your fake liberty than wearing a fricking mask.

It’s fake because pussies do as their government overlords tell them. This bullshite shows most people don’t care about freedom as long as a government check is coming.
