Visited Vogtle last month and the stressed the importance of a mix of energy sources with nuclear being the most efficient. In their words, it would take a solar farm the size of metro Atlanta to equal the output of one reactor.

Also, apparently as a part of the major freeze in TX the wonderful rinos allowed the lefties to get a solar panel grant of sort...cause we all know that is the answer.

Not only trust but think of how much mining and processing would be required to produce all those panels. Then what do you do with the panels once they fail? Can we ask California about that nightmare problem ?

I lost power Friday due to the storm.

Is Duke Energy having rolling blackouts? Is it mostly in Raleigh? Charlotte?

There are 4 counties that still run on an old time company so I don't have Duke Energy anymore.
